MEETING MINUTES
February 13, 2023
President Smith started the meeting at 6:54 by welcoming visitors and new members. She wished everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day!
The Prayer was led Nadine Lloyd.
Secretaries Report – Lynette Talak January 2023 – Lisa Propper made a motion to approve the Meeting Minutes as stated; Ramona Lee seconded the motion; the minutes were unanimously approved.
Treasurers Report – Samantha Howell January 2023 – Lizy Swain made a motion to approve the Treasurers Report; Holly Yurchison seconded the motion; the Treasurers Report was unanimously approved as read.
Birthdays for the Month of February- Diann Deines, Sandra Street, Billie McCray, Lisa Propper, Nancy Taylor
Events/Calendar Update
- Retreat 2023 – Holly Yurchison gave an update about happenings at the retreat and Karen Anderson discussed the menu for the event.
- A Nominating Committee has been formed and will be working on getting nominees for President, Vice President and Treasurer for 2023-2024.
Door Prizes – Were handled by Theresa Elliott.
Show & Tell
Program – Was presented by the owner of Tilted Quilter – Dawn Burns. She gave a history of the shop and demonstrated the use of a new “tilted” ruler.
