MEETING AGENDA
April 10, 2023
President Smith opened the meeting at 7 p.m. and welcomed new visitors and new members.
The Devotion/Prayer was led by Nadine Loyd.
Secretaries Report prepared by acting secretary Karen Anderson for the March 2023 meeting were nominated for approval by Holly Yurchison and seconded by Marquaree. The minutes were unanimously approved as read.
Treasurers Report – Samantha Howell March 2023 did not submit the treasurer’s report for review. It will be reviewed at the May 2023 meeting.
Birthdays for the Month of April- Karen Bradley, Samantha Howell, Sue Deyo, Charlotte Taylor, JoAnn Cisero, Lilah Sikes, Barbara Nazworth, Karen Byrd, and Lizy Swain.
Pillowcase Drive – Ryans Case for Smiles- Shout out to Bonnie Cressey for helping out with this. Also, a big shout out to Sara at Beyond Fabric who gave us 20% off of all the fabric
Volunteers Needed:
‘- 2024 Retreat – 2024 Reservation Completed ECO Lodge, Fargo Ga
‘- Opportunity Quilt – will be created by Ellie Boette and Lisa Maechtlen
‘- VA Quilt – Sue Deyo and Charlotte Taylor will create
Events/Calendar Update:
- Retreat 2023 Update – Holly Yurchison nothing to report; there were a tiny bit of funds remaining for this year’s retreat
- Nomination Committee – Karen Anderson gave an update indicating that Lori Frederick accepted the nomination for President, Lynette Talak accepted the nomination for Vice President, Sue Deyo accepted the nomination for Treasurer and Karen Hurst accepted the nomination for recording secretary. A vote will be held in May and installation of officers will occur at the June Meeting.
