Country Star Quilt Guild Meeting Minutes
May 11, 2026
Call to Order
President, Lori Frederick called the meeting to order at 6:54 pm.
Welcome
Lori welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming.
Devotion
Nadine Lloyd presented our devotion for the night. In keeping with tonight’s program “Tea and a Bed Turning”, Nadine’s devotion was entitled “Tea and Jesus…they make you Feel Good”. Referencing Mark 1:35 and Matthew 6:6 she reminded us how much we need people and Jesus. Nadine shared the following saying with us; “May you always have love to share, health to spare, and friends that care”; which has been attributed to Holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku.

The Guild Challenge sheets members received at the September meeting must be turned in by May 22nd, Prizes will be awarded! We had more than 20 quilts shown at our “Bed Turning”. There were many wonderful stories shared that made these beauties mean even more. Sara read “The Very First Piece”, which reminded us of our own experiences in quilting.
